BAND CAMP: JENNY BERKEL AND DEMETRA + LAKE FOREST

Our Summer School programming got off to a great start last Thursday with our first Band Camp program featuring Jenny Berkel and Demetra. The travelling duo made the OCAD U Student Gallery the only Toronto stop on their self described Spring Fling tour across Canada, which made us feel super special. The night began with $2 beers and chit chat, followed by an awesome opening set by Lake Forest. The huddled crowd, open door and twinkling fairy lights made it easy to pretend that we were under the stars at a campfire. Summer is here!! Thank you to Jenny, Demetra and Will for kickstarting our season and for bringing MUSIC into the Student Gallery for the first time.
